The Shellye Valauskas Experience

New Haven, Connecticut-based melodic pop four-piece The Shellye Valauskas Experience has been performing together since 2000, sharing the stage with such notables as Todd Rundgren, Melissa Ferrick, Ivy, Patty Griffin, Kristin Hersh, Pat Benatar, Amy Rigby, Merrie Amsterberg, Mike Viola, Shane Nicholson and Mary Lou Lord.

2002's debut release, The Stupid Truth (Volare) was well received by music critics and fans. The New Haven CD release party was a sold-out success, and the album is currently receiving airplay on college stations throughout the tri-state area.

Shellye and Dean Live on WESU

Listen to a live version of Box it Up from our Jan. 3 in-studio at WESU.  We went on air with our pal Giulia Gouge to promote the Save Orphans of Tanzania Benefit held at cafe nine on Jan. 5th.  Thanks to Rob DeRosa and Homegrown for having us!
